RBS bank upon Rainbow’s bio-hazard expertise

One Friday evening Rainbow International were contacted by a RBS bank site in Aberdeen to deal with an emergency bio-hazard situation.

A drainage contractor had been unblocking waste pipes earlier that day causing a number of issues that led to a blow back of contaminated material.

This had caused over 2 inches of raw sewage to ingress into the basement area and surrounding rooms within the bank, including the toilets, hall and store cupboard.

Upon Rainbow’s inspection, standing water and faecal matter was evident on floors, walls, doors and in all sanitary areas.

Their bio-hazard removal technicians eradicated and disposed of contaminated contents, extracted the standing water, removed sewage contamination as well as cleaning and sanitising all the affected areas

The branch manager was unable to close the bank until Rainbow had cleaned up the raw sewage as the incident had occurred next to the banks vault. Rainbow’s technicians worked in a very timely manner and completed the clean by 9.30pm that evening to the customers delight.
